Ramlal’s All-Round Display Powers High Beam Past Caparo Warriors

Nick Ramlal starred with bat and ball as High Beam defeated Caparo Warriors by five wickets in the Madras T10 Super League at the Madras Recreational Ground.

Caparo had posted 107 for four from their ten overs, led by Jadon Simon’s 35 from 18 balls. Simon struck three sixes and a four, providing the quickest substantial innings in Caparo’s batting effort.
Darion Gooding contributed 29 from 21 deliveries, including three fours and a six, while Shurlan Ghany added 25 from 17 with two sixes.
Ramlal made key breakthroughs for High Beam, removing Simon and Christopher Lenard to finish with two for 19 from two overs. Kenette Lalla claimed one for 18, while Gooding was run out.
High Beam’s reply was driven by Ramlal, whose innings included seven fours and two sixes. His 48 accounted for nearly half the target and gave the chase its strongest attacking contribution.
Lalla provided support with 18 from ten deliveries, striking two fours and a six. Although Caparo took five wickets, Jerren Franklin’s unbeaten 13 from nine balls helped High Beam complete the pursuit.
Abdullah Cambridge led Caparo’s bowling with two for 18 from two overs. Shurlan Ghany, Antonio Philip and Christopher Lenard collected one wicket each.
Caparo conceded 19 extras, including 17 wides, adding to the difficulty of defending their total. High Beam capitalised, with Ramlal’s influence across both innings proving central to their victory.
